colsoop
One of the parts that is commonly polished! They are coated with a paint or powdercoat of sorts so will need stripping before polishing. You wont get very far with autosol you will need something abrasive to remove the cast marks. Then a compound to clean up the abrasive stage. Followed by a lighter compound to bring on the shine. you could do it with a polishing kit mounted on an electric drill if you have the patience. Thanks Colin , seems like a removal is needed to get best results which equals seal replacement hmmm
Brazil
http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=196108&page=31 Have a read at this build thread it's one of the best here and it shows somewhere near the end how to do it. If I remember right he managed to secure his drill to a table and bought the polishing discs & soap online.

Its around £8 per gasket / seal IIRC. You may need to replace a few of the washers too. Tlicense "Blitz twin turbo" thread has the part numbers if you do take them off.
