I wondered that but TBH Matt after test driving both a MY11 and a MY09 to the untrained eye I really couldn't tell much difference at all tbh! The LC has/can been modified in the earlier cars so you can use it safely (i.e. building from a lower rpm) and the 'new' gearbox in the MY11 cars seems mostly software changes which will be available to the MY09/10 cars shortly via COBB updates if the is fitted with one Driving the GTR now makes me think its what the Supra must of felt like back in 1993 when they were first released!
