Leroybarry
IMG_0073.JPG what sort of money would it cost to get it turbo'd
martini
Great photo. £200 for overnight parts from Japan to get it turbo'd.
Attero
Roughly £2.5k for a TT conversion (an extra £2.5k for a 6spd conversion). Or you can go the NA-T route which is just putting a turbo on the 2JZ-GE. This could be more costly in the long run. The safer is option is to sell up and get a Twin Turbo. TopgunTT
Did you not look at the paperwork? Surely you would of looked at the log book? I wouldn't let them get away with it.
martini
The safer is option is to sell up and get a Twin Turbo. And check it has Turbos when you buy it.

supracars
Hi welcome mate is your car silver?? i got a feeling you eneded up buying the NA-t that was on Autotrader a few weeks ago.
j_jza80
Why are you contemplating going to the trouble of turbocharging it? Take it back, or at least demand some of your money back. You've obviously never driven a TT before, as you believed an NA was a fast RWD car, so it may be an idea to stick to an NA until you are ready. j_jza80
thats cruel. I think it's fair to say you're off the hook. Not only didn't this guy realise he was missing a couple of turbos and 0.8 bar of boost, he's going to let the scumbag seller get away with it. The amount of Supras I checked for quotes came up as MR2s or Celicas on comparison sites and suchlike.
