Well where shall I start:

 

Jan 1st 2010: I woke up at about 11am after a long night out with the Mrs and some friends from celebrating the New Year. Didn't do much that day in all fairness and could have been more productive. About 7.15 I had dinner, which I can't remember what it was then watched Television for the majority of the evening then went to bed at around 11pm-12am for work the next day.

 

Jan 2nd 2010: Got up about 6.15am for work had a shower and had a bowl of cereal for breakfast and I spent 20 mins in a dilemma on deciding whether to have Coco Pops or Frosties but ended up going for Coco Pops. I left for work circa 8am and arrived at work ready for a 9.30am start. Work wasn't particularly busy that day IIRC so seemed longer than usual. After work about 6.30ish I went to visit my girlfriend who had prepared a meal for us to indulge in.

 

After, we took a break and (censored) for about an hour or two followed by a shower and a break. Can't remember what I did after though.

 

 

I'll be back later when I remember what I've been doing since then

1. Had my prefacelift head lights refurbed

2. Swapped my refurbed headlights for facelifts

3. Swapped front indicators from pre to facelift

4. New head unit

5. 2nd decat fitted

6. New rear pads and discs

7. Refurbished and painted rear calipers

8. Ls400 4 pot calipers on the front painted also

9. Hks green panel filter

10. Hids for the dips

11. Gave it a full service again minus coolant ( last service 5k ago)

12. Having the dents on the rear arches sorted at the end of this month

13. Also having a full mop again at the end of this month as it's been a year since it was last done!

14. Have my rear wheels refurbed as they've picked up a few curb marks!

 

future plans:

 

1.Fit my top secret replica carbo diffuser I've got coming.

2. Build a TT engine with the bits I've sourced ( winter project)

3. Maybe a full respray depending on how it looks after the dents and mop has been done!

03. (TT) Went to Lee P and had an Alpine IDA-X305, Focal 165CA1 Rear Speakers, AEM AFR Gauge fitted, full service, and a trip to Ryan.G for an AEM FIC to be fitted/mapped.

04. (NA) Toyota Sprint Series Round 1, first place trophy acquired.

05. (TT) Thunder Road (disappointing results, misfire suspected).

06. (NA) Partial Geometry setup at Wheels in Motion, front only (rear is seized ) - Tony squeezed me in and the adjustments really helped with...

07. (NA) Toyota Sprint Series Round 2, first place trophy acquired.

08. (TT) Recaro Speed seats fitted.

09. (TT) Top hose connector on the Radiator disintegrated.

10. (TT) Road trip to Wales in the TT (with some hiking inbetween), fantastic roads over there.

11. (TT) Super Spark Coil Packs fitted.

12. (BMW) Trip to Germany for the Nurburgring 24hrs - fantastic event, recommend it to everybody.

13. (TT) 18" Volks sold, replaced with Stock 17s - ride quality improvement immediately obvious.

14. (TT) Second turbo let go, first turbo damaged in the aftermath - mad rush to get car fixed for Le Mans started.

15. (NA) Toyota Sprint Series Round 3, second place trophy acquired (missed out by 0.03s!).

16. (NA) Trip to Le Mans 24hrs (TT unfortunately not fixed in time).

 

I didn't realise I'd only done one track day so far - I'll have to get some more in!
