Yeah....looks a good enough bit of kit. But it's a copy\revision of one from the DIY-EFI group.

As soon as i can find some PCB artworks then i will have a go at making one up.

It provides a proper analysis of your fuelling under high boost conditions etc, very useful tool for tuning especially if you have big injectors and an SAFC or similar.

I'd like to see an independant comparison between this DIY unit and a professional type setup before I shelled out for it though.

Thanks Martin

What sort of time scale do you think before you make one? Is it near future .........?

Brad

You've made it clear on another thread that you have no intention of using the search function........ well, not everybody is gonna spoon feed you on demand.

Get over it , theres no need to get cranky.

Come to think about it ...... didn't you post a Q on how many spark plugs there are in a Supra? If so you may as well give this section a miss...........

Sorry Matt, I din't realise your in control here.

Remind me never to ask questions again.

In fact no I'll do the exact opposite of that and ask questions in post that I don't understand. Ok.

So don't try give me shit cos I won't have it.

Cheers,

I honestly wouldn't like to say. I still have an air box to build up that i have been intending to do since the summer!!! The parts are fairly much off-the shelf for the detector i just can't seem to dig up any artworks.

Also something to bear in mind is it's in two parts there's the detector which you can use with a multimeter to display the output or you build the display module and i haven't looked into this yet. But to give you some idea, the parts will cost peanuts, probably about £10-£15 and the UEGO about £80 at a guess. Hell of a saving on a commercial offering.

One of the guys in the states has confirmed that you can use the DIY-WBO2 with the AEM ECU. So you can see my logic. :D

Cheers,

Not suprised , you've had so much you're full of it....

I started this thread for opinions on a wideband controller.

If you want to know what one is start your own thread.

Or , do a little research

I have heard both good & bad reports on this, but mainly bad. I would save the extra & buy an FJO ( they seem the cheapest) or better still a Motec or Autronic.

Your the one spooning arses.

Like I say , if I don't know something I'll ask. If you don't wamt to answer cos your time is too important. Don't answer.

Its interesting, that this is the 2nd time in as many weeks, where the "technical" elitism, nonsense has been brought to the fore on this site.

If I want to know about how a bit of Supra kit works, i'll ask in this community forums. If anyone want to know about sucking cocks, they'll ask you.

Children if you can't play nicely I'll take your toys away:p

Brad it's just a wideband Air Fuel Ratio (AFR) meter. Lets you know what your cars fueling is doing via a wideband o2 sensor in your down pipe. Good for tuning purposes.

Cheers T. I undestand now, and will never have to ask again.

Just like, FMIC, BOV, HYBRID TURBO'S, BOOST GAUGES, TURBO TIMERS and even spark plugs and so forth. All of these things I've been educated in about since being on this board., because somebody had the time to respond in a positive way.

I don't see the big deal, if you don't wanna answer. Say nothing.

But don't waste the ascii in trying to assert how clever and knowledagable you are in in these fields. Because you just flag yourself for all the community to see, that you're trying to be a smart ass

Whats with the consistent gay theme ??

I assure you its not technical elitism on my part ..... more of a netiquette thing. Everything you could possibly wish to know about the diy wideband sensor was in the link , or linked from it

Why do you think I would no any more than you about fellatio?

Actually, he asked what a wideband sensor does not about that wideband sensor.

That link doesn't give any info as to what they actually do.

Can you say 'thread hijack' ?

The internet is a wonderful thing, particularly them search engines.

If everybody asked questions rather than use a search feature or read the relevant articles then so far we would have had to answer over 400 times what is a BOV, FMIC, BHP and how many spark plugs does a Supra have, etc.

Can you imagine what that would be like ?

Brad you have been on here long enough that if you had any interest in the technicalities of your car you'd know exactly what a wideband oxygen sensor does by now. Is it quiet in Chit Chat today ?

Lets try not to fill up the technical section with inane chit chat and too many arguments as we know how that ended up looking last time.

You are hardly in a position to question me after the last shit storm you created, you are lucky your still here.

Try reading the link and sublinks that Matt was asking about, it explains what it is!

Lucky to be here? Really? :moo:

Sublinks now? Or Sublinks of Sublinks?

I think Brad wanted a quick description of what one does, not spend an hour trawling 100's of pages, to be none of the wiser.
