Will my car fail the MOT now I've taken out the aforementioned ECU and therefore may not have working ABS; assuming an affirmative to Q1? 2b. Is it not just the ABS warning light that gets checked? No they are in the same place, but have a different ABS control unit. You can bin the trac ECU no problem, although if you have an auto it may make your gearchanges a bit more abrupt.
