Sakey
Is there a way of tricking the Active spolier to go into the down position when its not on the car? I've got the active spoiler but no loom on my car! (typical!! ) So its now sitting and relaxing on on my table with the lip in the up position. I want it to be permanently in the down position and brute force wont budge it! . I have tried to contact Garfy about one of his looms but hes not replying. Ideally I want to fit the whole undertray + spolier, so bolting just the lip on isn't an option
Kirk
Get hold of a power probe and run a live into the plug on the motor so it lowers Cant remember which pin it is so dont ask
Homer
It's possible to bodge the motor into a down position by hotwiring the temrinals, but don't ask me how Further to Martins post, I am pretty sure there is more than a positve and negative jump needed to get it to drop. If you get stuck I'll dig out the wiring diagram for the plug Unfortunately Garfy doesn't frequent the forum anymore and is no longer supplying the manual control switches Another option would be to plug it into another local car that has the wiring, ecu and switch, press the down button then unplug it. Bit of a PITA though!

Kirk
He must have one left as martini's first one ended up and ebay after never arriving and he bought it back??
Sakey
You guys were quick! I stumbled across this diagram of the plug http://homepage.ntlworld.com/peter.betts/supra/TechTips/spoiler6.gif Is that the right diagram of the plug? So if i run a 12V power the motor and send a voltage pulse (might be able to get hold of a power probe... I know some electrical type people) to the right pin it will go down. Unfortunately Garfy doesn't frequent the forum anymore and is no longer supplying the manual control switches Thats a shame, didn't know he stopped making them! Might have to make my own Edited June 19, 2010 by Sakey (see edit history)
Homer
Yes that's the plug. Pin 5 is the one you need to trick to get it to switch down by the looks of it (not sure how to do that!)
jagman
pin 1 and 2 - run the motor up/down depending on which is pos and neg Pin 4/5 are the limit switches -these allow either up or down selection for your needs just use pin 1 and 2 -

AndrewOW
I've just had a reply from him saying that he's sent out 2 so far, and as you haven't received them, he'll refund you the money. Ok?
