jevansio
My oil pressure is 8 BAR on a cold start, don't know why it would cut out though, prolly not related to the oil pressure

James
Cuts out? Is it trying to start properly? Checked the plugs? May be soaked a bit. Fuel pump/fuel lines are another port of call if it's failing to start. Also the battery I guess!
Guest Rit-600
well it takes about 5secs to start engine up. then it slowy cuts out but once i start it up for the seconed time with revs its fine lol

jevansio
Bit of history on the car? How long have you owned it? Has it just started doing this? Sounds a bit like the cold start isn't perfect? I'm assuming standalone ECU? Who mapped it?
Chris Wilson
Sounds like the cold start map needs tweaking. What ECU is it running? Oil pressure is OK.
JamesArup
Sounds very similar to what my car has been doing recently. It either starts, has a pretty lumpy idle & throttle response for 20 secs or so, then sorts itself out. Or it doesn't fire up at all on the first attempt (just turns over), but starts instantly on the second attempt with no idle issue. It's being investigated right now, I'll let you know the outcome. Seems like something in the fuelling setup though. Cheers, J

johnny g
Dmitri? I'm guessing it's colder in the UK than it is in Greece so it's a bit different? Also if it's Dmitiri, would it be an AEM ECU? If so, give Ryan G a call...
Guest SupraN
It could be ECU or try put new spark plug see if it work?
add heywood
As said I would think it's the ecu cold start map, nothing to worry about.
