marc_p
Have you got a six speed box? Mine does this, was a bit worried at first but apparently it's normal to hear the diffs engaging/dissengaging, which will give a slight clunk.

I've also wondered about this when coming off throttle, so it's probably nothing to worry about then.

ilicos
My old 5 speed N/A never did it, 5 speed boxes are a very quiet and refined gearbox. Not always or badly, but when I am driving slowly and moving up the gears in a leisurely manner, you hear a clink just after the gear change.
