Guest Pupton
i've just rebuilt a Getrag for a friend of mine and must admit it's been somewhat of a pain? It would seem that when I have removed the mainshaft during the strip down I have managed to pull out the oil supply tube that is pressed in the front casing?? I have downloaded the workshop manual but the pictures are not very clear? I really need to know which way it should face( the slot in the tube) I think I know but I want to be 100% sure as dont want any issue's with oil starvation on the input/mainshaft spigot bearings anyone got any pics etc?? Cheers Paul
adrianstokes
Best looking on the American forums I would have thought, they seem to be a bit more comfortable working on the V160/161. Perhaps something like this may help? http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=520346&highlight=gearbox+rebuild Presumably the manual you have is the same as this one...
