James
Will be needing to organise a courier to get my car up to Aberdeen from Teesside (it's in a storage salvage place there following an insurance claim (cat C)). Does anyone have any recommendations as to who to use or - alternatively - does anyone here offer such a service? Thanks in advance
Paul Whiffin
Yes, try Richard at Triple T Services. He moves all our race cars around the country and we use him for any of our car transport, he is very very good, takes great care over your car and caters for low cars also. Tell him I gave you his details http://tripletservices.co.uk/
evinX
Konrad did, but his trailer got stolen, i know theres some places in the yellow pages that cater for low sports cars, just ring around and find the cheapest place, sometimes small recovery business will do those jobs for a nice offer;)

SupraStar 3000
do you think they'll struggle to lift a Supra with a doluck front and your diffuser Paul?

creative
I would be asking the insurance company to deliver it. I did that with mine when my BM was written off and I bought it back.
James
I would be asking the insurance company to deliver it. I did that with mine when my BM was written off and I bought it back. I'm going to shout at them today about this. It said nothing in my insurance documents about what happens if written off and then I got a letter through (once I said I was buying it back) stating that arranging delivery/collection from the salvage yard would be at my expense. NOT HAPPY! I took it to the local Arnold Clark for inspection which is 9 miles from my home. I think I should have been asked if I was having it back before they took it 280 miles away! For me to then have to cover?! I should be picking it up from where it was taken given nothing has been done to it!
monsween
Yea dude, i'd be major pissed at that, get a train down and drive it home if thats possible.
monsween
Or if driving homes an option i'll take you down to teeside in the rocco. All i'll require is some petrol money and gummy bears.
James
I shall keep that in mind dude. I'll need to see what shape it's in (if the bonnet and/or bumper are still on). :\
James
Have been shouting at the insurance and they will be waivering the cost of redelivery (seeing as they took it away before letting me say woah wait I'll keep it and not pay £££ to have it sent back). Phew. Just goes to show - persistence is the key.
