Supranature
He can only do that if he had a reserve put on the article- which costs extra when submitting the listing. He is well out of order, would he have dropped the price had the bidding gone sky high?
TopgunTT
All you will be able to do is leave him negative feedback. People just do that to save on fees.
absz
There IS not alot you can do he will only submit to ebay that the item is no longer available due to damage. case closed

martini
File a complaint, wait, then leave negative feedback, stating your reasoning.
supra_aero
File a complaint, wait, then leave negative feedback, stating your reasoning. But he is within his right to say item is damaged so won't sell as its not as advertised. He may even be able to get the negative feedback retracted in that case. Thus, nowt you can do
SteveC
Forward his e-mail to eBay as proof of what he's said to you. He should be kicked off the site.

martini
Forward his e-mail to eBay as proof of what he's said to you. He should be kicked off the site. I think you should do this; going by his first email he's a lier. I hate that it's possible to file for it as broken. It's abuse of what is a pretty good system on eBay.
