Chris Wilson
Sounds high to me, but I would only trust a mechanical gauge, not a cheaply produced aftermarket electronic one. Get a garage to fit a calibrated master gauge and see if the readings are the same. 10 bar is getting to ruptured oil filter canister territory. skyludeboy
sorry just done a few more readings i can now confirm that it hits 8.5 bar max oil pressure on full chat is this acceptable? what mods can i do to make the pressure come down? dude
If you measure at the block you will find it is a lot lower, I personally think the sandwich plate somehow inflates the oil pres reading, I told Titan I was getting the same sort of figures at the same place and they did not think it was a problem. In fact they remove the stock cooler and bolt the filter straight to the block to increase pressure.
