Thats the worst thing i've ever heard. I think mitsubishi just throw ideas out there but you never actually know until they release it. Remember the pics of the evo x were all hatchback.

If they do go ahead with this the evo will be dead.

Well it says in the article they are thinking of axing the Evo all together anyway. If that happens there's no Mitsubishi i'd want to buy, then again the same could be said for Toyota these days.

That's a good point, could all be a clever ploy.

What's the point in bringing out a diesel EVO if they can't enter it in WRC?

I posted that link on another forum and almost everyone thought it was a bad idea.

I know that modern diesels can compete with petrol and that diesels like the A10 have been very successful.

I like TDis for what they are but at the end of the day I'd buy a petrol EVO but not a diesel one.

I wonder could it be anything to do with Ralliart going under. You would think though they would be pushing to better the new subaru impreza cosworth & they won't do that with a diesel.

Ha i can just see top gear ect, The new mitsubishi Evo vs its biggest rival. No its not the impreza its the .................. VW PASSAT TDI
