I sold my Supra yesterday and am going to look at a Kawasaki 636 Ninja today, supposed to be going to France in September for a riding holiday.

600's!!!! Good fun , hard work. If you dont want loads of peaky twitchy hp have a look at a Aprillia 1000 mille, so torquey I used to do the woodland circuit at Cadwell from the mountain to the start straight in 1 gear (and keep up with the 600's) and available for around 3.5K even as the R version, all Ohlins and Magnesium wheels.

There lovely bikes dude top drawer mucho droolness!! :D

Would you keep the Honda aswell or trade it in?

Its a lot of money Tony and Im really getting an itchy trigger finger to start track days again, I would buy another blade if I can find a lightly damaged one to turn into a track bike but then the road bike seems a bit boring!!!! ive thought about doing the thunderbikes next year, its a good class and has older more sensible riders so its not quite the texas chain saw massacre that some classes can be.

It is a lot of money mate its a lot of bike though at the same time. Cheap blade and track days would be the best route i think. Its good to get the speed bug out the system now and again without the thought of blue lights in the back of your head. At least in that class you wont get some half baked gung ho muppet causing you to bin it :)

Im not going to buy another bike now, happy enough with the old ZX9.

I haven't had a bike for about 4 years Dude so the insurance is a bit hight on the 1000's. I did want a Ducati 996 at first lol.

Edit:

I have just got a quote on a 52 plate millie rsv-r and it was cheaper than the ninja! might have a look for one of them instead.

Was unable to get a lift to have a look at the ninja, and have been looking at the millie's since i got a better quote than the ninja. What do you think of this on Dude?

Congtats Tony, Now just be careful in the rain.

.. then start learning how to get your knee down :D

That first knee down is great...............................providing its not followed by elbow down, head down and arse down !!!!!!;)

  • 2 weeks later...

Im not going to buy another bike now, happy enough with the old ZX9.

Forget that, i need another bike, zx9r hurts my wrists on a long ride, i want something that i can sit more upright on but still fast.

Im thinking kawasaki Z1000, any thoughts of other fast sit up straight bikes?

Something like this maybe, looks cool i think and should be easy on the wrists.
