dude
Wow That IS very nice Have you had a good play on it yet? A bit rusty at the moment but had it reading 175 leptons on a private runway with loads to go, the head and inj have been played with by the guys who looked after Joey Dunlops smaller race bikes, and it seems to lean a long way with no danger of touching down due to the rear sets. flukey-lukey
It cost me a fair bit to pass my test... CBT - £90 Theory - £31 DAS - £420 Mod 1 - £15.50 (which I failed) Mod 2 - £75 (couldn't take as I failed Mod 1) Mod 1 - £15.50 (passed!) Mod 2 - £75 (failed ) Mod 2 - £75 So, bear in mind you're not guaranteed to pass first time, it can become expensive! Then theres all the gear... budget at least £600 Its great fun though, good luck with it ps. I got a Yamaha R6 for my first bike, its awesome but I messed up and came off it 2 weeks after passing my test. My advice is take your time and don't get over confident, you'll get bitten in the ass if you do!

That would be budget gear, will prob do the job but only the once, I used to have a set of Nankai leathers, ultra thin, hardly new I had them on, those survived over 5 or 6 100mph + offs and are still being used today for trackdays. Brazil
Bikes are super dangerous...! There are only 2 types of riders 'the ones that've fallen and the ones that are going fall' If this is a risk that you are able to live with then go for it..! tony tt
Ok I am a bit of liability, I wont lie but still bikes are in a different risk league...! They are a higher risk your right but every day is a risk mate. The main thing is not to get on your bike with an empty head you need to be switched on and prepared for it. Most of the time its car drivers that dont look out for bikes that cause the accidents. At least you admit that a bike isnt for you and stepped away better that than making the wrong decision and hurting yourself.

Brazil
I tell you what I do like and am thinking of getting one...! It's a mo-ped/scooter...! ha ah I had one when I lived in Bali, Indonesia it seriously replaced my legs..! I would use it even to cross the road..! ha ha So practical especially as over there you don't need to wear a helmet infact my riding gear was only a pair of shorts and my surfboard on a surfboard rack hooked up to the scooter..! I had such a blast riding it..! Bring on the scooter..! lol 'I think i've just lost any if lilttle forum cred I might of had after this post'... ha ha ha
