Quick update...

Issue 1 of TPM proves to be a continuing success, with great feedback from both UK and overseas, which is great news and encouragement as we embark on the 2nd issue.

We've just officially had our first distributor/retailer for the US, http://www.twosrus.com we're keen to establish further reseller/retailers so anyone who is interested please drop me a pm, or an email through our website.

We're well into the show season right now, and you'll find TPM/MR2 Only Mag at TOTB, Elvington, Sunday 8th August, Supra Pod in August, Jap Fest Evolution at Rockingham, JAE at Wicksteed Park, 4th Gen Celica Show at Heritage Motor Centre, Warwickshire and of course concluding with Jap Show Finale at the Pod, so be sure to head over and say hello.

Thanks for the issue 1 orders and subscriptions so far guys, keep them coming so that we can continue to keep publishing a magazine truly dedicate to only Toyotas. To order your copy of issue 1 visit http://toyotaperformancemagazine.com/forum/content.php?143-Current-Issue

And just as a reminder, we're always on the look out for performance Toyotas/Lexus to feature, please fill out the feature request form that can be found in the header of our website.

See you at Suprapod guys!

We won't be doing a digital release for the immediate forseeable, our concentration at the moment is getting the magazine onto the news stand. Once we've achieved that, we may consider digital release moreso for back issues.

Any chance you are reconsidering this, even if it is something like a pdf which has a digital key drm to protect your content?

We're still focussing on the printed mag just for now, as from the surveys we'd done before the launch, and from our sister mag MR2 Only, seems people just love a printed magazine, easily portable to take for toilet reading I guess lol!! We're certainly not ruling out some sort of on-line electronic edition in the future, I've looked into Yudu and similar set-ups, I'm from a conventional publishing background, so its hard to get my head around the electronic era, and how a publication can be shared without being copied and distributed without permission. I've been offered in the past to demostrate how this could work on a sold out edition of MR2 Only Magazine, I guess I should take this up and see how it works for myself.

Having seen I'm in the mag I had to pick up the first issue, and though I haven't read much of it yet it has been quite enjoyable.

I have a minor gripe though, specifically with the Toyota Sprint Series articles - The event reports seem to be a straight cut and paste job from the series event reports, which includes references to pictures which aren't even in the magazine! Was this not proof read at all? It seems rather a silly oversight. :)

Finally got and skim read the first issue today. Having been buying jap performance and banzi for years it was refreshing to have something more focused on what I wanted to read about(Supra). The first issue has had more relevant articles than 12 months of the aforementioned magazines. So well done guys!

A suggestion for future issues would be a tech section looking at different ways to improve performance. Maybe a Chris Wilson suspension article, Ryan G mapping feature. Taking toyota tuning experts and looking at their opinions to get the best out of products and the car.

Again great magazine can't wait for the next issue :)

Oh I am so happy...not for you guys but for me. It was my birthday a couple of weeks ago and my kids always chip in for a years sub to a magazine for me. When they asked me which one I wanted this year I was right on the verge of saying TPM. It was only because my eldest is into other jap cars (we swap mags)that I decided to go for Banzai this year, phew lucky escape.

Gutted for all you who forked out for it though, hope you get it back.
