tooquicktostop
Dave (Supraloopy) has the Golf Mk1 GTI Cab at the moment doing some electrics and paint for me, I am collecting some parts at the same time Have to say I took a gamble with the leather seats from ebay as they seemed too cheap at £200 for 2 seats including new runners and new subframes Also a pair of chrome bonnet lifters, HID kit and front and rear strut braces The Car (front bumper stickers are already gone) The new bucket seats (original ones were knackered) Lifters, HIDs and Braces

What is the reliability like on these as they are getting on abit.

SUPRALOOPY
All that lot is now done and the rear seats are at the trimmers. Just got to fit the stereo stuff and other bits Dean is collecting and it will be a very tidy and now safe car to have fun in.. Most of the work being done is custom so I'll probably have the car longer than Dean..LOL
Septic
Nice Dub! You're part of Nomad VW? I'm on there too. Septic is my username. Dave with his Mk5 Golf saw me in my dub and told me to join. I havent been to any meets but he tell me that its great fun when you set fire to stuff lol. Btw, I can't believe you got such nice seats for 200 quid. The ATS' look hot too

j_jza80
What's up with the electrics? I've got an auto sparky coming round tommorow as I cant get the horn to work on my mk1. Checked all the earthing points etc with a multimeter and everything seems fine, the button and the horn are both tested too Nice looking Cabbie. j_jza80
Don't see many mk1s going about anymore nevermind mk1 cabs! Very nice! I think the Cabs are actually more common these days, probably as a greater percentage of them have been cherished than the hardtops.
