Jamesy
Well according to Ryan it was spooling 1500rpm earlier than L33's car which was using the same turbo with an XS Power manifold. 1500rpm is a lot! blimey mate that is HUGE!! how much do those manifolds go for ?? must feel like an animal on the road
Ryan.G
At 1.8bar it will absolutely fly!! Great work by Whifbitz as always! LeeP and Darren do this club proud with there workmanship
Paul Whiffin
blimey mate that is HUGE!! how much do those manifolds go for ?? must feel like an animal on the road Twingate manifold on its own is about £1200 + VAT. Then you need 2 wastegates, on Glenns car we used 2x Tial 38mm MVS as they are so small and makes it easier to fit everything in, about £220 each + VAT. You'll then need to make a downpipe to fit it. I'm thinking about producing it as a kit now after this result has backed up the result I had on my car.

GlennK
Guys, It's worth it! Paul - you must do this setup as a 'plug 'n play kit... Big thanks again to Paul, Darren and Ryan for their great work. Can't wait for the next 'tweak'

Nodalmighty
Did all the sensors get wired into the Syvecs and work ok in the monitoring software?
Luxluc
Congrats to all involved. The torque curve is mighty impressive when I compare it to my setup (same turbo and cams, but with HKS manifold). Great manifold Paul
GlennK
Lyndon, All the sensors worked thanks - but we now need to bolt on the displays and do the cable runs...
Nodalmighty
All the software and hardware is finished, just need a mounting solution for your pillar pod.

GlennK
I'm making shaped heat shields for the brake servo area and for the air intake this weekend, and then get my strut brace fitted too. Will post up a new photo then. Cheers.
GlennK
Just finished at SRR this afternoon. Ryan tuned my traction control via the Syvecs. And perfect weather conditions too! Slight drizzle, glistening roads. In 1st position 'Low Boost (0.9b), Wet Road' gave it WOT from rolling start. Some back end shimmy when the power hit. /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_shock.gif Ryan tweaked a bit more. Then a second run. Better. Then a final tweak and floored it hard. Straight as a die!! No instability at all. Retried. Same. Rock solid road holding. No wheelspin. No skipping. Incredible. A big Thank You to Ryan again for his expert tuning down the zero tolerance perfection point!! P.S. Paul - Good Luck with your GT4094R tuning session this afternoon. And get those slicks swapped for tyres that don't slip off the rolling road

GlennK
Mark, Not yet - want to compare weights but Rota 18x9 Fronts and 18x10 Rears are up near the top of the list...want to keep my current split rim look, black spokes with steel rims. Or maybe a Chav look with gold rims
Luxluc
Nice Glenn. How many positions for traction control does the Sylvec have?
Wez
Nice Glenn. How many positions for traction control does the Sylvec have? You can use an 8 position cal switch
GlennK
Luc, 8 positions: first two for low boost , wet and semidry, next two for high boost, semidry, dry. Next two for High boost, minimal and zero TC, and last two for security lockdowns. Neat stuff.
