N/a ecu

Hi guys just looking into this and there seems to be some conflicting opinions, is it possible to remap or buy an aftermarket ecu piggy back for an NA auto, I know bhp gains wont be a massive and I know its not a TT and Im not going to go and change my car for one :p So please only advice :D

you cant remap a stock ECU, and i think it pointless getting a piggy back, save your cash and get the car a good service replacing parts that need done, fuel filter, all fluids, belts. i see no point it trying to squeeze more power out an N/A. in my eyes waste of money.

 

id be more inclined to get her running purrfect. :D

There is no point unless you are prepared to change the cams, fuelling and ignition. :cool:

 

Then you will have in your possession an utter pig of a thing, impossible to live with around town, missing and farting and going nowhere until about 4,000 rpm. :(

 

And if you are still keen after that you just try and find upgraded cams for a 2JZ-GE :p
