CanisLupus
Just wanted to know why are people doing somethin like this? http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/5273/foto308q.jpg I mean just what the .... Got my Supra just about 3 weeks now, the first night i did not put it in my Garage and this happens. Some #€@%$ ripped the mirror off and i found it hanging like that when i wanted to go to work today. And it was in purpose because there are no other scratches or anything. I'd like to do the same with his head if i could.. Thanks for listening needed this...
evinX
I know its stupid isnt it, people really need to get a life, but in seriousness, what goes around comes around. They will get whats coming to them eventually, you can count on that!
Scott
Pita bud, happens a lot. Fortunately I have a garage for my car now. Previously I only had the 1 runaround and no garage. It was my pride and joy and I tried to look after it as best I could. Ended up with more key marks than paint Just not allowed to have a nice car anymore. Suprab1
This would make you sick. Jealousy is all it is.
manny
This kind of sh!t makes me sick, I could kind of understand it if they broke in but they get nothing out of this. I had mine keyed badly a couple years ago outside my ex-girlfriends flat, after three resprays to get it right its still always noticeble to me. I never leave it out at night now, stays safely locked up in the garage under the house. Hope you get it sorted soon mate.
JnrEast21
people just have no respect for others property... i have had many incidents like this over the years with my various cars, including catching some dozy cow in tesco car park about to put a big box of cans on top of my car :o doors opened into the sides, key marks etc, some people need a lesson in respect, im sure they wouldnt like it if the shoe was on the other foot and you were damaging something they had invested time and money in... hope you get it sorted out ok mate (and catch whoever did this and give them a serious shoe-ing)
gavin.starr
had the same thing happen to mine right outside my house, but the dented the door too as i think they kicked it downwards and the mirror hit the door which created the dent. well annoyed, i would quite hapily return the favour if i knew who it was
Geo
This really pi sses me off, you spend lots of time and effort and savings on your pride and joy only for some jealous wee baw hum, to come along and cause a significant amout of damage in 5mins. I know its not right by Law to dish out justice, but if i caught some wee tadger, burberry wearing cnuto, id give him/her a good seeing to, no questions asked. They'd soon realise not to mess with someone elses property. Yes this may be wrong but i dont care these days as our justice system is crap anyway, so a bit of Judge Dread about me wudnt go a miss down my way. scotty71
Just wanted to know why are people doing somethin like this? One reason mate, jealousy.. I live in a sleepy village, I have a garage which gives me enough space to store the car and work on it if needs be. I would not buy a Supra or any other car like it Skyline etc if it was out to the elements/scumbags 24/7. Mines only a weekend car so is in the garage. As you have a garage use it all the time and dont give these scum the chance to harm your Supe:)
CanisLupus
hope you get it sorted out ok mate (and catch whoever did this and give them a serious shoe-ing) The shoe-ing would be nice but the chance of getting this p... is very little Trying to sort it out. Currently in search of the folding mirror, colour is not important just the inside should be working fine. Or is there a refurbish kit for the mirror? Watinig to hear what Toyota would want for a mirror so i can decide either to contact my insurance or not.
CanisLupus
So for anyone interested and for anyone who has had or will have the same "Problem". I have disassembled the whole Mirror and in my case there is only one thing broke which i hope can be welded together again. It's the "thingy"(don't know how to call it ^^) where the wires to the Motors go through. Here's a Picture of it: http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/2673/foto312.jpg Tomorrow i'll give it a go and search for someone who can do that. If i'm lucky i'll get away with some Euros paid for the welding and put the whole thing back together again
