The ref had a good game, he showed restraint and did not make any rash judgement. The fact that Spain still managed to win the game despite being kicked all over the pitch says it all. Agreed, I actually felt a bit sorry for him because both sides were committing bad fouls continuously, he didn't want to send anybody off in the World Cup final and ruin the occasion.
