jim Posted June 27, 2010 Share Posted June 27, 2010 England have been shocking the whole tournament, we (speaking from an outsiders perspective) all knew that Germany would chin them given their form in the group matches. They scraped through against Slovenia in the final match and your press/media completely forgot how shit the England team are and got carried away with the whole 'we're going to win the world cup' fairytale all over again. If it wasn't for the media inflating your hopes the defeat would be easier to accept. I'm also fed up hearing about the hand of god, and I bet that the goal that never was today will be replayed over and over and over just like Maradonna's goal was.
