Scott
England are playing as bad as I've seen. No-one wants the ball, or to create anything! That, and the passing & handling is crap. They played far better up front against the USA. You could have said they were a bit unlucky not to convert more against them. The same certainly cannot be said here. As you said, there just seems to be a lack of inspiration.
sdistc
Now I understand why you English are miserable pessimistic gits. If Australia played as bad in a sport we obsess over (i.e. rugby or cricket), the players would not be able to return to our country afterward - they'd have to employ witness-relocation skills. Plonkers.

Ricky49
Same old England cannot perform when it's needed.
ellis
This is beyond dire. We don't deserve to reach the knockout stage. Pitiful display.
jevansio
Tis why I don't watch em anymore, just end up getting wound up & throwing white chairs, if there were a world cup for that we'd win for sure

Bobbeh
None of the 'stars' are shining, they're out of ideas and not gelling as a team, it doesn't matter who we put in to manage them they're the ones that aren't performing.
sdistc
The manager has no biscuits, should have started with Cole on the left, Gerrard in behind Rooney and wing attacks from Lennon and Defoe Fixed.

Terminator
I know this will not make me any friends, but popularity has never bothered me before. Footballers, over paid, over hyped, over worshiped. Beautiful game my arse. Never watch football, l only watch the last half, as I heard on the radio that the other team were playing much better. What the hell makes these idiots worth £50,000 a week, we have our priorities all wrong. Shame the money in football could not be spend on medical research. If that were the case we would all now have some one we knew who would still be alive today.

If that were the case we would all now have some one we knew who would still be alive today. Hear hear. I really enjoy the game on all levels to be honest. The money in the game is absolutely ridiculous now though. Clubs being in 100's of millions of £'s of debt over football is just ridiculous. To be absolutely fair though, basketball, american football and baseball lead the way by quite some margin. If we could all get our priorities right, and think of humanity a little more, the world would be a much more enjoyable place to live for a lot of very unfortunate people. At the end of the day we are all incredibly fortunate.
