tony tt
Do you mean Rule Britannia? What's the point of being patriotic if you don't even know the correct name of the song. Exactly!

Gaz6002
There's a people carrier close to me with four flags on the door shuts, one covering the back windscreen and loosely-fitted hubcaps painted red and white. Not only does it look like the Fireman Sam parade lost a member, it's also dangerous to drive (and probably even worse to drive near!). I hope the police think twice about penalising people with numberplate lettering 3mm too small when all these heaps are allowed on the road (usually with 28 kids in the back). Imagine the grief. They would much rather pull the civilised sort that thinks they are cool in their sports car with the slightly off registration. Ricky49
Pick up your rattle, teddy and dummy get back in your pram and suck your thumb. Touch a little nerve did I never mind you can always try for the next Euro's. Can I be the first to point out that this is exactly what most of the people in this thread are getting at. 1 Get over yourself, you'll be stuffed soon enough. 2 Take some pride in your country that relates to ANYTHING other than football. 3 If you wish to display some national pride do so without singing "Engerland, Engerland, Engerland, Engerland" at every opportunity, in every hotel/pub/street/lane in the World. Come see a Scotland match and you will see the best atmosphere in your life.. win, lose or draw. Club football up here is a massacre. National football is an absolute dream. Ricky49
Aye, that's true. However, our education system teaches us how to punctuate and apostrophise correctly! Are you sure. What's AYE

You didn't touch any nerves bud, you're just showing the problems with people during football in your country. Not had much culture if you don't know what "Aye" means. RedM
Here's the official edict about displaying the England flag. If you are racist then it is racist to fly the flag. If you aren't racist then it isn't. The thing is though, you probably are racist.

Oh I know what 'aye' is it's what the local White 15 year old says who walks like he has a stone in his shoe, a baseball cap on sideways and says 'your muther AYE'. Here's me thinking it was jockenese.
ivan
A mate of mine has plastered his (black) Bentley Conti GT with a huge St Georges flag sticker over the whole roof. Added to that he's covered the sides and rear with vinyl adverts for some club or other and the whole car looks a right mess. At least he hasn't added any falgs though. edge
A pic of house in bristol that reminds me of the other rough council estates that seems to spend all of its benefit money on christmas lights. And yes they are england streamers that go to the house over the road. Very subtle

Very subtle Beautiful man, beautiful... FWIW, I had a "Falg" (just one mind), on my old black Renault Laguna. After 3 weeks of it flapping around on my roof when driving I had loads of white marks in the paintwork on the roof that it took me ages to t-cut out. Never again. I may be racist be I like my paintwork too much to show it these days.... H.
