4packet Posted June 11, 2010 Share Posted June 11, 2010 Somewhere between 600 and 1000degC I would say depending on how hard you push them. The above is based on fast road pads being capable of 600/700degC and these will fade if driven hard, while track only type pads are capable of at least 1000degC and these don't seem to fade. I've done 10 minute track day stints which inlcudes 160 down to 50mph with DBA discs with the Thermo paint (see attached) and nothing has changed colour yet. 458/550/630 Degrees C.
