Havard
I have debated about selling the NA for ages and never been able to bring myself to let go, even though I want a TT or a 996 Turbo. My mate who does dody work has just collected it from my house to have a couple of bits of paintwork tidied up and a full mop/buff of the paint all over. There is a dealer opposite his unit who's come over asking how much would I want for it..... Have a look at my garage and tell me what you would pay for it? I have been getting the car ready for sale lately but didn't expect any interst until I put an advert up here. It's a 96 NA 5 speed with 18" alloys, OEM skirts & spats, leather seats etc. It went straight through the MOT on Monday with no advisories. Has 9 months tax, 94k on the clock, lots of receipts and the last 11 Mot's. LPG Conversion in the boot although I have hardly used it to be fair. All tyres are in good knick with 5mm at least all round. I really need to move on but after 3 years with the car I still wonder if I am doing the right thing selling it..!! cheers H. JohnHandy
5.5k edit: no idear realy looks lovley though low miles?
Matt H
It's a great example of a facelift N/A, so whatever they are going for I'd imagine yours would be at the high end of the bracket. Mileage would be the only downside if any Sell it to a dealer mind and you're asking for £1.5k off its value.

Lbm
What's the exchange rate on 1 earth dollar to a martian ruppee? (just so I can get my head around it) 6.85 Paul, why not flog it privately? More money in your bin for the Porker
pedrosixfour
A facelift SZ-R with a 5 speed 'box? You sure?
michael
Obviously the answer here is "as much as possible" but what would you be willing to let it go for? When it's not a forced sale you can afford to be more picky but there comes a point when you have a price in your head and someone comes close to it - what would it take for you to let someone drive away in it? Looks like a lovely example though, I had no idea you had such good taste to be honest and would like to apologise for what I was expecting to see in your garage
evinX
If you dont want to sell it, clean her up and make her a new car again, you got the body cleaned up, ad a few nice touches to the exterior and interior and plant a tt in there, you will be well happy mate! keep it:) and also, yours may be nice and clean and well kept, but na's arnt fetching that much so would be pointless selling it:)
Matt H
6.85 I don't think that's true, the Earth Dollar has never been that strong since the pandora blue person porn fiasco crash, that resulted in millions of Earthlings with expesnive blue person porn they couldn't shift.... even to the klingons! Thorin
P.s, how much does a 993 turbo at the age you want go for nowadays? 6.5 million earth dollars.
Havard
6.85 Paul, why not flog it privately? More money in your bin for the Porker Not sure if we'll get something immediately. Ideally I would be after a TT6 facelift but the prices seem to be getting higher compared to 12 months ago..... A facelift SZ-R with a 5 speed 'box? You sure? No, it's an SZ. I've never amended my garage. I actually bought it as an SZ-R but made a mistake about the gearbox. It was only when I found out about the VIN plate numbers that I checked and found that I'd been diddled, either that or the previous owner didn't know himself.... Looks like a lovely example though, I had no idea you had such good taste to be honest and would like to apologise for what I was expecting to see in your garage You kill me Michael. Apology accepted...lol..!! P.s, how much does a 993 turbo at the age you want go for nowadays? I was after a 996TT, so about £25k at the bottom end.... I know that I could get a lot of Supra for that money but I wouldn't pay more than £10K ideally for a 13 year old TT6. I would really like something less than 10 years old. I could get a 2001 996TT for £25K or a 2002 Mercedes 500SL for 18K. There are some bad points with my car but I suppose they are quite trivial. Paint is generally good but it does have a couple of chips that have been touched in and chips on the outside of the door edges. The ariel is snapped but I never use the radio, there is just the top bit stuck in the hole so it looks down all the time. The AC is not working but I'll get that charged up, it takes about a month for the AC gas to leak away although I have been told that it's passes a vacuum test..... One of the alloys is scuffed but the other three are perfect. There is a light permanently on on the dash that says I have a bulb out but they are all working, this is down to some bodge from either the undercar neons that were removed or the LPG conversion. Either way I have had the yellow light on for over 3 years and if anything I have become quite partial to it..... The sub frame bolts may need tightening as I get the occasional knock but this will be sorted next week. Besides that, it's a fine car that has rarely let me down besides some age related issues. It's been to Le Mans twice and when used regularly has been the most realiable car I have ever owned considering it's age. H.
The Raven
A dealership once offered me 3k for a stock UK Spec TT with less than 90k on it with full history. He will try and rape you on the price
