Attero
So James Corden and Sir Patrick Stewart had hit it off at the Glamour Awards, but I don't get it... were they genuine insults, or were they just kidding about? I didn't find Patrick funny at all... and James didn't sound like he was taking it all that well, despite everyone siding with James. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/culturevideo/7812856/James-Corden-and-Sir-Patrick-Stewart-exchange-insults-at-Glamour-Awards.html
michael
Having spent some time with Patrick Stewart I found him to be an absolute gent, I haven't met Corden but he comes across as being a complete dribbling knob-end. I'm on team Patrick.
Attero
Poll added I do like Patrick Stewart... especially his work in Family Guy and American Dad. But I do also like James Corden, because he's just generally funny.

Bear in mind he is a Royal Shakespearean actor as well, not just the bloke out of Family Guy... oh and of course he WAS Picard!
Swampy442
Pretty much what Peter said, big Pat is a legend, fatty Corden just took a ride on the other dude fron Gavin and Stacys coat tails.
AndrewOW
Hate Corden, like Jean Luc Picard. He's a captain of a star ship, don't you know? What has that fat bloke ever done that's worthy of anything except derision?

Attero
What the hell did you do to the poll?!?!?! I do like his role as Picard and in X men (which I did not like), but I don't know any of his other stuff.
Matt H
So why did Patrick Stewart insult James? Any reason?
Attero
I guess he has a general dislike for James and decided to be straight out with it.

Dr_Doom
It looked like Patrick Stewart had maybe one too many beers at the bar?! Whether Patrick's a legend or not, he made a complete tool out of himself there IMO! What was he thinking? If he wanted to put Corden down he should of thought of something a lot more creative than that!
Attero
Yeah but you all say Corden was bad at comebacks, yet Patrick Stewart, his line - I didn't understand. "If you fancied the Jonas Brothers, cover your belly" That came out nowhere didn't it? And what was the pause Patrick made when he was talking about the people in the front row before James stepped in and said about his punchline? Why did he pause? It confuses me a little. Matt H
Basically because he's a slob. zyNvyn0mBXY Looks like Patrick was out of order there, putting him down on stage. If he wanted to say that to him, he could have done it in the back. Can someone explain what 'If you love the Jonas Brothers, then cover your belly' means? Both looked like nobs by the end of it. Only funny thing was james' first comeback. rest of it was cringe worthy
AndrewOW
I can watch all kinds of nasty stuff, but I can't bring myself to watch that! Maybe Patrick Stewart met James Corden a while ago, where his clothes just fell off, and he just can't get that mental image out of his mind! Jake
It looked like Patrick Stewart had maybe one too many beers at the bar?! Whether Patrick's a legend or not, he made a complete tool out of himself there IMO! Agreed. The old boy seems to have had a problem with Corden's lack of class. I'm not a big Corden fan either but anyone who's ever seen him shouldn't be surprised that he might have his hands in his pockets. Seems a bit odd that the aged thesp should try to insult fatso by insinuating that he was a gayer. In fact, I'd always assumed that the old lovie himself was a frequent visitor to the marmite speedway but apparently he's happily married. You know, like Rock Hudson and Kenny Everett were. stevie_b
I liked Patrick Stewart in A Christmas Carol. Add that to the fact it's a Wednesday, I'll vote for myself.

You do realise that these clips are edited, right? I presume that The Jonas Brothers (whoever the hell they are) were also at this awards ceremony and that possibly some other 'humorous' remarks had been made about them and their attractiveness or whatever had been made prior to the start of this clip. That was my inference anyway.
