jackso11
has anybody seen this before? Seems quite popular on american forums. Don't think I would do anything like this to my sup but if anyone has any track cars or sheapo project cars it looks really good?! http://www.rickwrench.com/index79master.htm?http://www.rickwrench.com/50dollarpaint.html here is another one, looks a bit orange peely in black but I am guessing a cut polish should sort that out... http://www.noswirls.com/forums/showthread.php?t=
Kev_A
Seen this years ago, looks smart for a roller job, alot of hassle though I bet
jackso11
Yeah on other sites it says it is done in hours but that guy seems to do it over several weeks with loads of coats to get that finish.
Kev_A
And just look at the damage a simple stone chip causes, it's more of a stone chunk!! That paint is (IMO) far too soft for automotive use
evinX
Thats how you do old skool paint jobs, rust prevention paint, brush it on, lots or brush lines etc, sand it smooth and buff it up. Im doing mine in hammerite satin, looks sweet and cant see the spray lines either:D
edge
Looks like more hassle than its worth
Chris Wilson
I have 15 litres of B&Q magnolia gloss for sale, and a rather mouse eaten roller. Offers invited.

jackso11
I think this looks like a really good method for anyone with a project car, like an old beaten up looking mini or something like that. Wouldn't let anyone who paints like this near my supra though.
