is there 720cc or 800cc drop in injectors

Hi all

 

im thinking of getting 720cc or 800cc injectors for my T61 coversion to allow for future plans. Just wondering if you can get these like the 550 or 650 drop in injectors? or would i need an uprated fuel rail?

 

any advice would be much appreciated

720 and 800 are available as drops in's for the TT. They've been used by many people here without issue. PE and Sard both supply these, though there are many more, depending on budget. My last supra has been using 800cc PE drop in's for the last 3 years or so.

thanks darryl, ive just seen your garage, with the t67 and all the mods your cars only pushing 460 at the wheels? is that right? i thought you could do atleat 600-650 with them mods?

none are really cheap mate - you'll spend £600+ for a decent set of drop ins

It was running 1.4 bar, safe mapping and stock cams so the BHP is bang on for that It's was within 1 bhp of the bhp JamieP had with the same turbo, engine spec and boost on his current car, so is a good benchmark.

 

Things have moved on since then, especially as to what boost it's considered safe to run with an unopened engine These days I'd be likely trying for 1.7bar on the same setup.

 

I'd not expect more than 600bhp (flywheel) without making a lot more changes, regardless of boost. The XS manifold would also likely have become a big issue at those levels.

I got some sard 800cc from Whifbitz paid less than £600 for them.

Already tryed there mate, if you read it properly it says £380 for 4x800cc injectors not 6.

I only ask as it could be a cheap top feed conversion and top feed injectors are nice and cheap from FiveO Motorsport in the US (come checked and in balanced sets too).

 

Having seen the results from brand new out of the box Sard and Blitz side feed injector flow tests on a mates ANSU I wouldn't fit them in a lawn mower.
