Its been converted to read MPH.

The odo has been left untouched and now reads 104k as the first 35k was in kilometers.

35k kilometers = 22000 miles. 104000 - 22000 = 84000 miles.

Hope that all makes sense, I have it all written down from the previous owner.

Matt

That's an awesome piece of kit you've got there.

Looking to downsize from the Supra in the next month or so, but i don't expect this one to hang around for long. However, if it's still kicking about in about 6 weeks time.. Yes please. :)

Best of luck with the sale.

Your maths is a bit off...

It should be:

35k kilometers = 22000 miles. 104000 - 13000 = 91000 miles.

You can't wipe the first 22k miles off, just the difference between the km/miles conversion, which is 13k of odometer reading. So the first 35k on the odometer is the equivalent of 22k miles and the rest is in miles ie: to make the equation simpler to see right off:

104k is made up of 69k miles (104k-35k to get the miles put on since the conversion) and 35k in kilometres (or 22k in miles) so add 69k and 22k miles and you get your 91k miles which is the accurate reading to date.

Not trying to ruin your sale, I just don't want someone genuinely interested in the car put off thinking you're pulling a fast one.

Good luck with the sale. I owned a Celica GT for 3 years and absolutely loved driving it. It's the most fun I've had in a car until I got my Supra :D
