ManwithSupra
Hi all, I removed my engine cover today for painting. Now i am pretty sure this is not the case and am going to look like an idiot for asking but a little voice in my head is making me ask this question. Apart from the obvious (cam gears and cam belt exposed) are there any other issues with running the engine without the plastic engine cover and assiociated Allen bolts that hold it in place (the ones the bolt the plastic cover onto the cam covers)? Now i dont think there is, but i just want someone else to confirm this....stupid dam voice.... trinitom
It should be fine, just don't spill oil on the cam gears!
Ricky49
If there is why not replace it with a clear cover.
