abtin90
Hi, with it being summer now I wanted to get my air con recharged as there is nothing left, i looked at some of the other threads where people have suggested going to kwik fit; however when i went there they said they cant do it on an import as in has a different plug to the ones they use here. Anyone know of anywhere that can recharge the ac on an import? My car is a 1995 supra. thanks

My car is a 1995 supra. thanks They obviously don't know what they are doing then, all MKIV Supras use R134a refrigerant which is the current gas used in vehicle air conditioning systems today. absz
As said above no problems with fitment or gas. i have my own gauge set and cylinder which fits all modern cars including the SUPRA

Yup, £35 for the recharge, and another £15 for the optional deodorizer which is probably a good idea if you've not used it for a while. AndrewOW
That's an excellent price. My aircon needs recharging, but as I tend to go topless when the weather's good, it's only used on mild rainy days anyway, and we never really get bad weather here on the sunny south coast! michael
The one near me is charging £45 (HiQ) is there a secret word to be saying lol The one I use has a massive banner outside advertising it at £35 so no secret words needed, maybe they have done a Kwik Fit and bumped the price now that everyone is getting warm?
