add heywood
Will an oem headgasket be the best to replaced mine with, or should I go for a HKS or similar? Also what head bolts are recommended to use?
TLicense
I would go with a stock Toyota head gasket. They're good quality and steel laminate (the same as a HKS one). The only reason I would go for an alternative would be if I wanted to change the compression ratio for some reason. As far as headbolts, personally I would go for ARP head studs, but to be honest I've not heard of anyone having had a problem with the stock bolts clamping force. dude
As above, if you feel flush go for the exotic ARP studs.
Kirk
Or you could get the normal ARP studs There more servicable than stock bolts hence why people switch. To me it makes total sence to make the change
