Dnk
What were the OE tyre sizes on the NA with 16" wheels fitted ? & What would i need to convert an auto NA with an open diff to having and LSD in it, would it be just change the diff or would i need propshaft and driveshafts. I've searched both these but not found the answers so any help or point me in the right direction would be appreciated Thanks
bradleyh_15
I asked this a while back and was told 225 50 and 245 50 for tyre's! can't help with the diff question though!
Nic
Front - 225/50ZR16 Rear - 245/50ZR16 All the NA were fitted with the smaller diff casing the same as fitted on the J-spec TT Auto and the VVTi J-spec TT auto & manual. You could either get the whole diff assembly and swap over (although the final drive gearing will be longer) or fit a TRD LSD in the NA diff casing. No need to change drive shafts. Dnk
Thanks guy's Nic if im reading that right all i need is a complete diff off an auto j spec tt and it'll fit with the auto na's prop and driveshafts but it'll have higher top speed so slightly slower 0-60 Edited June 4, 2010 by Dnk (see edit history)

Homer
Jamie posted a few times that the small casing TT diffs have a different prop shaft fitment to the NA ones. I've not been able to verify this and couldn't find much information to confirm. However it's something to keep in mind. Other than that Nic has covered it
