stevie_b
I'm getting the cambelt (+ tensioner), aux belt and crank pulley replaced on my NA supra soon. Are there any other items that I should consider replacing as a matter of course whilst that work's being done? I was thinking about the front main oil seal: is that worth replacing? Other suggestions also welcome.
Jimmer
I would deffo replace the front main as its cheap and easy to do and will probably be leaking! Whilst its stripped you can check water pump/alternator/PAS bearings etc
RobD
I'd do the water pump whilst your there! For what it costs it's worth it, sod's law is that it will go after you've had the belt changed and will need it all doing again!
Rob_Mitchell
yeah agree with the water pump mate. i recently did the oposite, my water pump failed so i replaced the belt and tensioner at the same time.
