GavinL
Originally posted by MONKEYmark also the exchangerate seems good value at the min too. http://www.x-rates.com/ The exchange rate is not bad. Bear in mind however that there will be shipping cost added to that price and also about 22% duties on top of that. The carriers will also charge you for the collection of the duties as well. You can of course ask that they underdeclare the consignment value but that is a big risk with goods of that value. You won't be forgetting to ask your insurance company what your premium will be with it fitted will you;)
Gaz Walker
Mark, We're pretty much in the same boat. I have already ordered my turbo kit, but I am waiting for the rest of the bits (fuel kit, aem) before I do anything. I am also changing to a TT6 first as the auto is going to be too much hassle. Leon @ JPS knows a lot about the auto boxes, your going to need to speak with someone about this. I know you do a lot of drag racing so he's your man - the auto wont last 5 minutes doing drag starts with a decent powered T66 on the motor. I am going SP63. 81 A/R, HKS Ex 264 Cam, Aem, Blitz 850cc fuel rail + all associated bits. My power goal is 500rwhp ish, and I will be using it day in, day out. Gaz. Guest Terry S
Coz I am clever;) A well known tuner in this country is doing his own turbo kits starting very soon. Guess who. If you can read compressor maps it's not too hard to select a turbo. A 60mm wheel with that size A/R will not be much worse than stock for spool. Paul Whiffin
Go for a Powerhouse Racing kit, top quality with all the bits required included, I've got the stage 1 which is the smallest available and lag is minimal, perfect for an auto.
