Attero
We are talking about the film here I'm not an overall fan of Resident Evil. I thought the first film was okay, but not great. The second was just awful. Never seen the third. But the fourth... looks like it's a cheap rip-off from Silent Hill with added Matrix parts with supposedly "the best graphics", which does not match up to it's description very well. I'm not sure if to take this as a joke or not? See for yourself: http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi2628781849/ Anyone else find these films a bit... rubbish? Thorin
I've still not seen the third one either, and I agree with you on the first two. I enjoyed the Silent Hill film and have been hoping they'd do a sequel.
SupraDan24
You werent missing much by not watching the 3rd installment....an hour and a half of my life i'll never get back My particular hate is the Saw saga, fist one was brilliant....then after that they went down hill rapidly for me. Attero
I thought Silent Hill was awesome. They are starting the filming for Silent Hill 2 this year.
michael
I enjoy the Resident Evil movies but don't take them too seriously. I bought Silent Hill on DVD when it came out, I still haven't seen it.

Strangely enough for me (as I don't enjoy a repetitive series of films), I've always enjoyed a bit of Saw. I could be sick and twisted I guess. Thorin
I've seen the first three Saw films, enjoyed the first, disappointed by the second, and thought the third one was terrible. All those type of films just seem to be trying to go out of their way to shock now, rather than focusing on a decent story.
Attero
A bit like that Saw Alive thing at Thorpe Park. Meant to shock people. I better get a grab of that before they close it down for being too scary.
Supra N_A
silent hill sucked balls i think!! got to say thow the new resident evil looks crap not liking the whole matrix copying thing. 1st one was the best!
Guest jdwals
I really enjoyed the three Res Evil movies. The first is the best - thought the second was okay but thought the third was nearly as good as the first. Was looking forward to seeing number four but not so sure now.... RiceRocket
My particular hate is the Saw saga, fist one was brilliant....then after that they went down hill rapidly for me. I've gathered the sixth is a return to good form (I stopped at 4). I enjoy the Resident Evil movies but don't take them too seriously. It has got production values so it's just 90 minutes of "switch your brain off" action.
benkei
I was never happy with the Resident Evil films. They used the games as a guideline and kind of went off on their own tangent. A movie of the first game would be awesome, abviously it would be more horror style than action, but that was the whole atmosphere of the first game. Then Get Leon in on the sequel for a more action based movie. This new one looks like it's taking bits of story from the 4th and 5th games, then following the whole '3D graphics and super amazing action sequence' crap that is the new 'in' thing. Can't people make good films anymore? Unfortunately the 'sickest graphics innit' seem to sell better these days...
a98pmalcolm
yer i havent bothered with the 3rd... the picture looks wierd most probly coz the 3D thingy

I better get a grab of that before they close it down for being too scary. I went on that a couple of weeks ago. You have to move through the rooms with your hands on the back of the person, luckily it was the brother in law, not so handy he's blooming tall. I was a little worried being at the back, but ended up laughing most of the way round. It was fun, but not something I'd ever feel the need to do again.. Chris and Alana
I enjoy the resident evil films however they are a little repetative. This one looks like a mix between the Blade films and the matrix from that clip. My fav film by far is Avatar I still need to get that back from my parents now I come to think of it

Chris and Alana
Even in 2D? Yeah, but probably because I never got to see it in 3D, I would guess if I had seen it in 3D then watching it in 2D it would probably be pants. I still think you need a good quality DVD player a big TV to make it work in 2D, watching it on a portable with a cheap ass player would look poo IMO. Carl
If Mila Jovovich is starring thats good enough for me...
Rob
You wanna see Starship Troopers 3. Make sure there are no staplers around though, as you will feel to urge to self-harm your eyes.

Yeah that was terrible, did you see number 2? it was just as bad.
Attero
Starship Troopers 1 was awesome... especially for the time. 2 was so bad I stopped watching it half way through.
EMPEROR
There is Starship Troopers 3, which is better than 2, with the same actors as 1... but still not as good as the old 1... About this Resident Evil thingy... looks more like Blade to me... but as Carl said... Mila Jovovich deserves watching

I watched about 15 mins of that movie then turned it off. I was more interested in harming the cast for offending my eyes with they're bad acting then harming myself
RiceRocket
Yeah, but probably because I never got to see it in 3D, So does Pocahontas and Dancing With Wolves round off your top 3?
