Animal
No, everyone I know up here were in the office. The woman who sits opposite went to school with the farmer who got shot in Gosforth. She's a bit freaked out. It's been a weird day, sirens and helicopters going past all day and everyone's mobiles going off frequently. tomgeer
I live in Seascale and had to walk through a crime scene to get to my house after work, two people were killed within yards of my house, one lived on my street, the other just down the road. Horrible scenes, police are still there now. I have had to leave the car abandoned on the roadside. They say the road will be cleared for tomorrow morning. My thoughts are with everyone who is involved in this.

Guest AdamR
Its times like these when UK gun laws prevent people from protecting themselves against loons like this. If only it was legal to carry a concealed handgun for personal defence, this may not have happened
Gaz6002
this may not have happened Or, it would happen a lot more.
Guest AdamR
Or, it would happen a lot more. Well there would be more shootings sure but this guy could have killed a lot more people, the police certainly couldnt do anything with their sticks that they carry. everybody is just completely vulnerable against a gun in the UK

Abz
Its times like these when UK gun laws prevent people from protecting themselves against loons like this. If only it was legal to carry a concealed handgun for personal defence, this may not have happened In America you have a massive gun culture! No one is safe as "anyone" can get a gun & kill you over a burger. I am glad guns are banned here in the UK. We are not stuffed, the police have a very good fire arms unit.
