misfire?

Hello all, I seem to have developed a misfire at high boost, the car is running a HKS Evc 5 set at 1.15bar it also has denso IK22 plugs, I noticed the car was smelling a bit hot yesterday after driving home, tonight I was overtaking and the car started to splutter, this was followed by the red warning triangle coming on for about a second.

I settled back to cruising and I had some bangs and pops from the exhaust, I have read Ian C's post on this subject but I really want to know is where to start?

I also have the front cat still in place.

Thanks in advance :)

right I have linked TE1 and E1 in the diag port and I get nothing, no flashing lights on the dash, I have made sure the car is de-imobilized (if there is such a word),

I am running out of time as I need the car for work tomorrow :(

Edit : I think I have figured why there is no error codes, It looks like the right hand upper part of the dash has stopped working (where you get the oil light etc) could this be a fuse out somewhere or possibly need re-soldering?

Any help woul be greatfully appreciated
