Gaz6002
No, not Ken Block. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/10206526.stm I like Boris. He's exactly what we need in a political figure - he knows exactly which parts of politics to take seriously. None of them. Discuss.
imi
Not much a fan of Boris, however no way in hell do I want Ken back in power......

Abz
Me & Gav had this conversation in another thread he mentioned about Boris, I'd keep Boris. His a much more liked character with a will to listen. Even if some people may think he acts daft at times, at least he knows when to take things seriously & not just plan on charging everyone who lives in London millionaire rates on servants wages. Multics
Me & Gav had this conversation in another thread he mentioned about Boris, I'd keep Boris. His a much more liked character with a will to listen. I've never seen this man listening, he's constantly interrupting people. Being popular and likeable got him the seat but when it's down to business I don't think he's up to the job. Too much of a clown IMO. Not a particular fan of Ken either, it's like having to choose between AIDS and cholera.
martini
Boris, solely based on his rugby tackle during a football match. ... it's like having to choose between AIDS and cholera. Cholera please.

I think we do need someone as Major who can take a step back & be more relaxed. Ken was so stiff if anyone sneezed he would be considering to put the congestion charge in the whole of England for £20 a day! We could do better but if I had to choose between the 2 I'd take Boris. supra_aero
Agree with both of you (Abz and Multics). Ken was an utter invalid after a while and messed up London in too many ways. Boris has done nothing worth mentioning but at the same time has not messed up anything either. Boris is by no means an ideal major but better than that ogre Livingstone - so happy he has gone. What a wally he was.
imi
its MAYOR...not Major
AlexM
Boris, for all the reasons above that support my decision.

RiceRocket
Boris for the legend he was on HIGNFY. And surely he's gonna be the highlight of the 2012 Olympics with some sort of gaffe/buffoonery

Lauren R
Like Boris on the telly but definitely not as a politician. All well and good being a funny bloke but he seems pretty useless to me. Didn't he win London on the promise he would scrap the western extension of the congestion charge?! I know they're always gonna lie, but come on, it was pretty much his only policy.
