Thorin
Anyone going to watch this at a local cinema somewhere? http://www.thebigfourlive.com/ The Big Four: Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax - broadcast via satellite to select movie theatres Tuesday, June 22 For one night only, metalheads around the world can experience history: On Tuesday, June 22, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax perform on one stage together, and through the wonders of satellite technology, you can be part of this historic concert event, broadcast exclusively to select movie theatres around the world. Beyond the limited European festival dates, there are no additional tour dates planned for this extraordinary line-up. It's showing at The Light in Leeds, I'm tempted, but the thought of spending 4 hours sat in a cinema seat is a tad off-putting.

If the VIP seats are available it would be OK - would need beer though.
Animal
I saw this last week, and apart from the fact that it's not being shown anywhere near where I work, I can't decide how lame it'd be. I mean, it's just kind of rubbing it in that you're not there, in the pit, going crazy. You're sat in a cinema with a bag of popcorn. Plus, this year I'll have seen Slayer twice by then and the circus that is currently Anthrax once. Megadeth I'm not too fussed about anymore, unless Megadave is going to play his first two or three albums in their entirety. My views on when Metallica should have fucked off are well documented already, but needless to say, I wouldn't be watching them and would begrudge them getting any percentage of my ticket money. Bobbeh
I like the sound of the gig but not the idea of sitting in a cinema and watching it. Would be a good buy on Blu Ray.
