Club names, any regrets !

I've considered changing my forum moniker (it's the numberplate of my car, and I thought it was amusingly apt at the time blah blah blah) but at least people who meet me are forewarned that I'm a pain in person too.

If I get the Supra it's a deal.

Will I be able to drink beer on a Friday lunchtime?

If it comes back fully detailed I'm tempted! ;)

Of course, no more than three pints though, we don't want to be irresponsible.

When I first joined the internets I used to play a MUD, I forget the name now. I'd just finished reading The Hobbit at the time and so stuck for something original for my character name I used this. Signed up on the BBS for the game using the same character name and it kind of stuck.

I would change it, but someone already has my name... plus I've been a member here a while, I wouldn't like to confuse people. (well that and people might confuse me with the other one and lynch me at meets etc.)

Maybe if you spelt the name with a cap 'M', you may get away with it. Plus you'd look a lot more mod like in the process. :)

Or, as you say, it could be a dangerous move :sly:

Did mine while working at M-Sport, didnt really think that people would were actually expecting to meet a "movistar!" when they saw me..... Lol

The name is from one of the sponsers at the time on the Focus WRC, suppose thats what you get for not really thinking it through, but its kinda catchy i think!?

A couple of things...

I was christened with the letters L.b.m, so that's that and secondly - I thought Michael's name was actually Betty, I'm sure I read that somewhere on here.

Apologies if wrong.

I changed mine when it seemed everything else in my world was changed.

I regret it a little as I'm fond of "Gatso" and I could still sign with "G" like I usually do.

Trouble is I go on a couple of other forums and Gatso's taken.

I did think of going with my old Army name "Donkeydick" but as I wasn't in the army and therefore didn't have a nickname I thought I would'nt  :D

I was in the Cubs and was called "Shrimp" as my surnames Simpson and I was puny :(

I preferred Gatso to be honest. He was more likeable. :D
