hogmaw
Classic's rock, tis such a shame they don't even clear UK spec brakes, Pretty sure the LM20's even need a spacer to clear UKs IIRC Nothing in the Volk range? They seem to cater for the wider rear rim, TE37 or CE28n? I have 18" ccw classics and they clear my UK brakes with no spacer. All ccw wheels are custom made. Surely they can make a set to order that will fit?

dandan
Rota make a wheel that is similar to your Advans....it might be worth getting a pair of those to experiment with the banding rather than jumping in and chopping the Advans in two!
caseys
Thought of just getting what you like made? http://www.imagewheels.co.uk/ and I'm sure they cater for a lot of sizes and offsets edit : doh! Just seen wez's post ... Teaches me for not reading both pages
Wez
Might also be worth a chat with CW to see what can be done to increase the mechanical grip, you may not have to increase tire width.
