Scott
Evo V by quite some way. I prefer the look of the VI but I honestly believe the V to be the best ever. IV doesn't even come into it.
The Raven
Sorted out my question Nice one people, now all i need do is book the test drive then think if im really done with supras.
Scott
I wouldn't recommend choosing either over a TT. An N/A is a different kettle of fish though.

I hear that but i just dont know if i can be doing the whole supra thing again. I have a kid so 4 doors and boot would help. I will book a test drive from my local importer and see what happens. Buy an volvo for the doors LOL. Im not getting a volvo! Just didnt float you boat then? I enjoyed my Uk TT, and i liked my old MR2. Im more than pissed now with the lack of grunt from my n/a and im kinda bored now that its more or less looking how i want it. I will get the whole evo out of my system and go back to saving for the TT engine im sure.
Scott
It was my dream car at the time mate. When my Wife to be said to go for it while we could I was like a kid in a candy store for weeks. I eventually got my car sold and bought the Evo. It was amazing, so fast and the handling was absolutely 2nd to none. After the 2nd week I had completely mastered the car. It does absolutely everything for you, completely idiot proof. Basically it makes you look good. I could drive like a rally champion with my eyes closed. My mates thought I was a driving god. In actual fact I just floored it and held on, even on corners pedal to the metal, it did nothing. Now this sounds impressive but after a month it got so boring it was unreal. I sold up after 5 months and bought the MR2. The MR2 was way way faster after the norm for an AWD car (around 60). From the roll the MR2 was like a savage monster ready to rip your face off. You had to drive, learn to drive all over again, it was amazing and gave a thrill every single time I sat in it. The TT is just the grown up version of the MR2. Tiny bit less hairy to drive but with the civility and savegery required to keep you entertained while keeping you safe at the same time. Thanks for that:D I will take it all on board, the import place has a 5, and a TT6 maybe i will take them both out as my TT was auto

The Raven
evo over a supra this is madness (keep the supra) Dont see that mate, Evo over a TT6 might be but over an N/A? really? 4 wheel drive More BHP More seats Newer Probably does better MPG Ok looks wise its not going to win. Guest Suprafly
Getting back to the topic, I sold my last Supra (Supra #4) and bought an Evo 5, the 5 is way better than the 4 with wider track and brembo brakes just for a kick off, and come in at 300-305bhp in standard form, the list goes on. If you're seriously considering an Evo then you should join the Mitsubishi Lancer Register and you'll find your answers there.
JamieP
Evo 4 suffers with crank walk, saying that i prefer them over the 5, i had a 4RS a while back and its was better than the 7 i got after it imo.

Guest Suprafly
I bought my 5 about 3 weeks ago, and I'm really pleased with it, not looking back yet. Practical for the boy (20 month old) with the back doors etc and enough power not to mention it's blistering performance to keep me happy! For the money you really cant go wrong for these machines. pistonbroke
I know it's not an evo, but I had a fling with a WRX STI Scooby (similar) which was fettled to the tune of 350bhp........it lasted less than 6 months, back in the supra we go
AJI
My bro has an EVO4 RS and I have an EVO6 RS2..... we both went for the RS versions of the EVO precisely for the reasons Scott points out. Having a computer system drive the car for you is very boring, but the RS versions of the EVO do not have the AYC system on it, instead they have a more aggressive diff on them that gives a better feel under power delivery. The RS EVOs can not be driven with foot to the floor all the time, and they reward you with good enthusiastic driving. (They also don't need the silly 4,500 diff oil change). If you're set on an EVO go for the latest version you can afford and choose an RS (or RS2). Be aware the RS versions come with less creature comforts and usually with gravel spec brakes. Scott
Mine was an RS too bud. Topped out at approx 130 iirc. Got there bloody quick though
jonathanc
I had an E5 and it's absolutely brilliant. The handling and power is really something else. Had a rev3 MR2 tubby as well, but I think the Evo is much better. Only thing is be prepared to spend some money maintaining the Evo. You need to keep one tip top to really enjoy the full potential. Oh, the Evo 5 has a small fuel tank as well so be prepared to visit the petrol station pretty often But if you have extra to spend I would try to get a 6... 6RS...or TME - last of the proper evos! The Raven
Looks like it might be bye bye supra then. Anyone want a nice modded aero?
nad300
As jamie mentioned, dont bother with an evo 4 as they suffer from crank walk unless fitted with later engine from 5 onwards personally i must say even though i love supras think their amazing cars even na's lol but since i bought my evo 6 tme, must say awesome cars quick/practical etc & get attension from everyone pic of mine
Suprab1
I'd say the 5 aswell mate. Just make sure it is boosting properly as they are known for their actuators to rust up due to water getting in, easly cured by installing an evo 8 actuator. Best of luck & i hope you enjoy your purchase.
