kubus1
I want to have a full de cat exhaust done. I had a Powerflow custom build on my last car ( Megane Coupe 2.0 16V) but was thinking what are your opinions? Are the Jap tuners better? Whats the BHP increase with Powerflow? Any comments greatly appreciated.

Much more if you take both cats out, you'll possibly have a high boost prob with both cats out and need FCD & BC as well.

THOR Racing
Mongoose do a complete sainless steel system (decat removal etc) for the same price as just the back box from Apexi or HKS. Around £500 BUT you don't get the really loud/booming exhaust note. Depends what you want. As for BHP etc etc it's no different to having a HKS, Apexi, Mongoose, Drainpipe, organ pipes. So long as it's 3" straight through with no restrictions, as Gavin also suggests. Regards Pete
Rich J
Originally posted by kubus1 Whats the BHP increase with Powerflow? Any comments greatly appreciated. Most PowerFlow franchises don't have machines big enough to mandrel bend 2.5" pipe so finding one that can do a good job on 3" pipe is not going to be easy. kubus1
Oh, they told me as well that my BHP increase would be in the range of 7-8 BHP? IS THAT RIGHT?

BHP increase on a 3" exhaust with the cats removed would be considerably higher than 7-8 bhp (30 bhp maybe?) being a euro spec car there will be no overboosting problems.
