AndrewOW
Has anyone else been watching this? I remember the original programme from the 80's, but as always the update is far superior. I've had to download the first series as I forgot it was on, and I'm thoroughly impressed with it so far. Lisa's hot!
JustGav
It has been good so far, not sure about it being better than the original, but worth watching nonetheless.
Arbedark
Started watching it with my girlfriend, then got a bit bored with it so stopped after episode 4 or so. The girlfriend has watched all of them though and says it was pretty good. Bit young to remember the original unfortunately
Swampy442
Yeah its quality, with the added bonus of Juliette off of Lost in the cast, she so pretty.
AndrewOW
Yeah its quality, with the added bonus of Juliette off of Lost in the cast, she so pretty. Yes, I have to agree there. She's got one of those smiles that just lights up. A bit like Janeway in Voyager. Except she sounded like she smoked 80 a day, which kinda spoilt it a bit! I'm on episode 11 at the moment, and it's been far better than I expected, so will hope that it will keep the momentum going as it could be a good series over all. Swampy442
The classic V was a great story, from what Ive seen of he new series it follows on but with more tension. The V spokesperson, brunette with short hair is also helmet.

johnny g
Compulsive viewing for me. I have downloaded them all from the states the morning after they've aired. The casting is great in this one and the acting is much better than the original - but they still need someone to play the role of Ham Tyler (Michael Ironside) a little better. Kyle Hobbs (Charles Mesure) is ok, but he needs a bit more of the killer instinct. That aside, it's great. Laura Vandervoort is hot, Morenna Baccarin is brilliant as the "High Commander" - and the supporting cast is also very good. Season 1 has just ended in the states, with Season reported to be starting either very late this year, or very year early 2011.
Guest damo1
the original was much better, even down to the story lines...and lasted ages from what my mum told me as i was only 3 years old but i watched the re-runs when i got older ive got the original on box set if any1 wants copies.. i dont mind.. but the new remake needs some excitement and less of the breaks syfi needs to cut down on the adverts as out of an hour episode i timed it to 42 mins viewing time thanks to sky plus.... and the entrance on how the ship arrived in earth was shocking compared to the old V... johnny g
You can't blame the program for how the channel broadcasts it...
JustGav
Most main stream TV programs are 40 mins (when they are an hour broadcast time), same as 2 hour broadcasts are usually only 1h30 of actual programming.
Guest damo1
I know but when every episode starts by stating previously on V and then shows all the footage from the past 5-6-7 bloody episodes is does my head in!!!!
johnny g
Sky Plus it .... then fast forward past it? It's only about 30s worth.
