BOB B
Weather so bad I didn't stay for the camping, sorry to those guys who I said to in the morning, "I'll be camping no problem" well it wore me down and by 14.30 there was nothing left, so I skulked away. (Chicken huh). Its sad to see all that prep time by such a lot of people, (especially the propper draggers) go down the swanny, plus all the work done by the Mods, well done, its just a shame you can't control the weather too. bradleyh_15
I had fun even though it was so wet! So who almost took one of the drifters cars in the face standing by the barriers when he hit them? Poor guys car! I would have been a little annoyed! As already said thanks to all the mods who arranged it top work!

Josh
I'd like to have spoken to more people but didn't really know who anyone was. Next time, everyone should be made to wear name tags for the first timers like me!
pistonbroke
My cousin and I stayed overnight, we had a right hoot. The mini lot had their 'mini party in the park'. The bar was open with the funfair (drunk dodgems are awesome ). They had a blues brothers tribute band then music afterwards. It was quality.......I was smashed

mawby
Well not the day I was expecting, but still very good none the less. Thanks to everyone who braved the weather - getting wet at the gate would have been far less tolerable if no body had bothered to turn up! It is a real shame about the drag racing, but unfortunately it takes up to two hours to dry the strip when soaking wet. The constant heavy downpours just made it impossible to keep the track dry enough for even a few goes. Hopefully for those of you that stayed over for the nights socialising/drinking/banter it made up for the lack of track action. It was nice to see so many old faces and meet a few new members too. Also thanks to karolina and L18msy for doing a excellent clean up job of the hotel breakfast area at gone 3am this morning! And also for L18msy taking the "drunk Scot" to bed. I've forgotten his name but people will know who I mean - the one I'm told had lost the drinking competition! We will announce later what the situation is regarding any refunds. Hopefully next year the weather will be better!

Branners
It was certainly a shame that it rained so much. We got very close to getting the track dry, about 30 minutes with the dryers would have done it, but at 2.30pm it poured down again which finished things off completely. As per the other thread, we are hoping to get our insurance payout for the day and then refund everybody for the drag racing only. More news on that as I get it.
