Attero
So the season for Festivals is about to start (generally between June and September). What festivals are you going to or planning to go? I'm trying to find a ticket for the Isle of Wight festival (10th-12th June) and I plan on going to the Bestival (Isle of Wight again) in September. TopgunTT
I live less than 2 miles from the Glastonbury festival. Don't know why it's called the Glastonbury one when it's in pilton and only 1 mile from Shepton Mallet? U2 have pulled out as Bono has had a operation on his back and now the gorillas are headlining on the friday night.
JustGav
I'm going to fill the loo with manure and soil....lock myself in and leave the radio outside... same atmosphere
Branners
I'm going to fill the loo with manure and soil....lock myself in and leave the radio outside... same atmosphere You forgot the copious amounts of mud, and you need to arrange for somebody to randomly steal your stuff while you arent looking. At the end you need to sit in your car with the heating on full for 2 hours to simulate the exit from the car park!! I'm sure the festivals are lovely, but I quite like my comforts now. Attero
You can still have comfort at festivals. Many festivals now have options to have secure camping and camping with facilities that are actually quite homely. Although I don't see the fun in all this. I just don't take anything valuable and enjoy the socialness of it all.
Benzsupra
I'm going to Reading, 80's Rewind, T4 on the beach (not really a festival as such) and hopefully Sonisphere too

Attero
Sounds expensive. Certainly is... I'd much rather camp with the peasants.

Animal
Bloodstock Sonisphere plus various bike rallies over the year and not a festival, but I've just won a pair of tickets to the Metal Hammer Golden Gods awards at the O2 in London
Swampy442
Theres only one worth going to, Lattitude. Saw Nick Caves project Grinderman and Interpol there couple of years ago, was amazing.
