davep Posted October 9, 2010 Share Posted October 9, 2010 fitted mine today looks great but just an observation for the mrk 2 the top face were the stubby screws to needs to be formed with a flat face to sit were the tappex insert is in the stubby because as you screw the stubby on its just jacking it out of the plastic or you could just fit a washer or 2 on the like i did :-) top job though mate looks great on the car Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The issue was that the antenna base was under stress so what has been done to sort this is an M16 thread has been put on to the bottom of the extension bar and a new bracket has been made for the extension bar to to go through , now the antenna base is stress free How much is it all in matey? including p&p to my address? to install it do i have to take out the original motor etc?
